Pickled radishes are an amazing way to add a little crunchy zip to any of your favorite dishes, like: tacos, noodle bowls, and even barbecue sandwiches! For an added level of spice, put in 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes!
Ingredients
- 5 radishes, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 Tbsp. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black peppercorns
Instructions
- Place radishes into a half-pint sized jar with a lid.
- Heat vinegar and water in a non-reactive saucepan over medium heat, and whisk in sugar and salt until just dissolved.
- Remove from heat and add black peppercorns. Let cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.
- Pour liquid over radishes. Cover and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate!
